How to
Create and Customize Forms
Form
allows you to capture data related to counted objects and export the data to a CSV file.
Your forms can include fields to capture data as a text input, options selected from a dropdown menu, automatic incremental numbering, checklists and many others.

Create Form

Open the Settings window by clicking on the
Settings
icon (top right).

Click
Forms

Click on
New Form

Give it a relevant name and make sure to have
Show on main screen
and
Set as Active
options enabled.

Click on
Add field
button and add as many fields you need by clicking on symbol
+
.
You can choose between:
Values
to save data using textboxes, dropdown lists, to check expected count result, total count, number of images counted with Auto-Increment textbox, volume and diameter.
Buttons
to activate/inactivate actions.
Radio groups
and
Checklist
to create lists of options.

Click
Edit
to see the field's settings and start editing them (Description, Properties, Values, Sync, etc).

To change the order of the form elements, use the
Up / Down
arrows on the Move button.

After you have made all the needed changes to the form, click on
Save & Exit
button.

On
Main
screen, click the
arrow
button on the right side of the Main screen to show / hide the newly created form.

Save data from forms in a CSV file.

Open the Settings window by clicking on the
Settings
icon (top right).

Go to
CSV/Export
.

Check that the form is selected.

On
Form Items
, check
Use All
.

Save
button.

Count an image and save results.

Open
image file.

Based on the fields type you included in your form, some data will be automatically filled in the form and some data needs to be filled in by the operator (for example select element from a dropdown list, fill in a textbox, select an option from a radio group).

After the form is filled in, click
Save
.

To open the results saved, click green
Saved
button.

Open the CSV file from within the results folder to check the data saved.
The results are located on your desktop in a folder named
CountThingsResults
.
The results folders are structured by date: the top level folder is named by year, inside each year folder are folders by month, and inside each month folders are folders by day.
